Our story
SDS engineers have a long history of pioneering work in gunshot detection. Our founding engineering team started out building sniper detection technology for the military in the early 2000s. Spurred on by Sandy Hook and other school shootings, we launched our first commercial product in 2015. Since then, we’ve continued to innovate, win awards, and welcome new customers year after year.
